Nicole McCluney’s lifelong passion for serving others, coupled with her aptitude for public speaking and well-reasoned arguments, led to her career as an attorney. She enjoys the uniqueness of each case and is devoted to ensuring that no detail is overlooked.
Prior to joining Hedrick Gardner, Nicole defended employers against workers’ compensation claims at another Charlotte law firm and worked for two years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office.
While enrolled at the University of North Carolina School of Law, Nicole served as a certified law student practitioner with the Youth Justice Clinic. In this role, she advised and counseled juveniles accused of crimes and status offenses and represented them in court hearings in Wake and Durham counties. Nicole also gained valuable experience through clerkships at the Wake County District Court and North Carolina General Assembly.
