As the first attorney in her family, Diamond Rowell knows what it takes to turn a long-held goal into reality. She brings that same determination to her work today, representing businesses and their insurers in construction and insurance-related disputes.
Diamond is drawn to the complexity of insurance law, where disputes rarely turn on a single question. Instead, they involve layered contracts, multiple parties, coverage issues, and technical facts that must be fully understood before they can be clearly explained. She enjoys working through these complexities and finding the best possible solution for each one. Her civil litigation practice focuses on defending corporate clients and business owners in construction disputes and insurance defense matters, and she works to understand the project, the people, and the business stakes behind every case.
Before joining Hedrick Gardner, Diamond practiced at law firms in Wilmington and Charlotte. She earned her B.A. from Howard University and her J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law. Licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, she is well positioned to serve clients whose projects and operations cross state lines.
Away from the office, Diamond is happiest around a table with family and friends, often trying out a new recipe. She loves to travel, and when she gets to choose the destination, the Bahamas is hard to beat.
