Shelby Sutuksy understands the impact of her work on the businesses she serves and the people within them. She was initially motivated to become an attorney after witnessing how attorneys could help families through hard times, but has since enjoyed serving business clients, helping them reduce financial liability.
Shelby launched her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Carolyn C. Matthews at the South Carolina Administrative Law Court, serving from 2007-2011. She then transitioned to private practice, where she focused on insurance defense matters before the SC Workers’ Compensation Commission. Throughout this period, she expanded her experience by working with healthcare professionals and resolving tax disputes. Shelby also gained valuable public sector experience at the Departments of Labor and Social Services.
Outside work, mom duties keep Shelby busy as she shuttles her three children to and from dance and band competitions as well as soccer games. When she can get away, she prefers vacationing anywhere in the Caribbean.
