Anthony M. Ibarra

Anthony “Tony” Ibarra is a man of resolve and drive, determined to overcome any obstacle to serve his clients effectively.  With a significant background in information technology as well as plenty of experience practicing law, he wields an analytical approach to thoroughly investigate each matter and help his clients arrive at the most favorable outcome possible.

Prior to joining Hedrick Gardner, Tony has worked with multiple law firms in the Columbia area, representing business of all sizes (including Fortune 100 companies), utilizing his oral and written advocacy skills to ensure his clients obtained the best possible results.  He also applied his information technology expertise to provide insight to attorneys using AI for their practice and assisted in processing field notes from inspectors and into proprietary database software for engineers to use in forming opinions.

Among his accomplishments, Tony has been admitted to all courts of South Carolina and the 4^th Circuit Court of Appeals and earned multiple Dean’s List Honors at Charleston School of Law, also earning a CALI Award and holding the position of Editor-in-Chief of RESOLVED: The Journal of Alternative Dispute Resolution while at school. Tony is a proud US Navy Veteran, and is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Tony is a proud father of two young children who keep him busy during his free time.  He is bilingual (English and Spanish) and originally hails from the city of San Diego, CA.
