John Landry

John enrolled in law school just a day after receiving a frustrating traffic citation. His desire to effectively represent himself for his upcoming court appearance translated into a legal career where he could help defend others when they need it most. He finds the fast-paced field of workers’ compensation invigorating, and seeks the chance to frequently represent his clients in hearings.

Prior to his time with Hedrick Gardner, John handled full workers’ compensation caseloads and represented clients before the Industrial Commission at various law firms in the area. He also assisted with associate development as well as with cases involving the NC Court of Appeals.

John is an avid music fan and loves to attend live concerts featuring old favorites and up-and coming-bands.  In his free time, he prefers walks with his dog Betty (French bulldog) and hiking with his dog Chip (mixed breed). He also enjoys spending time with his three sons, and is a huge movie buff.
