Karrington Wallace

Attorney at Law

Karrington Wallace brings a passionate, advocacy-driven approach to her practice, rooted in a deep commitment to navigating the legal system on behalf of her clients. Her path to law was shaped by a pivotal moment in high school when, after watching the documentary “13th,” she became captivated by how the legal system was created and how it operates today — a realization that redirected her from a science track toward a career in law.

Before joining the firm, Karrington gained experience working with the Honorable Jeffery K. Carpenter at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, where she prepared bench briefs and analyzed citations in opinion drafts. She also interned with North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services, assisting with a direct appeal from a capital case and drafting a 25-year petition seeking to vacate a Life Without Parole conviction. Additionally, she completed a full-time externship with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Federal Sector Hearings Unit in Charlotte, where she drafted orders for Administrative Judges and observed mediations and settlement conferences.

Outside the office, Karrington enjoys spending time on her family’s farm with her nine siblings and extended family. She is an avid reader, typically working through three to five books per week. Her favorite place to unwind is Daufuskie Island, South Carolina.
