Marcy is a Partner in our Columbia, South Carolina office, bringing nearly 30 years of experience representing businesses of all sizes and their insurance carriers in claims before the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission. Her practice also includes litigating commercial automobile coverage disputes and she regularly advises clients on the interplay between third-party insurance claims and the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act.
Marcy is a co-author of multiple editions of The Law of Workers’ Compensation Insurance in South Carolina (SC Bar), widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive and authoritative resources on workers’ compensation law in the state. She has been consistently recognized by her peers in The Best Lawyers in America® for her work in Workers’ Compensation Law – Employers since 2011.
She is an active member of the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association, and the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association. A lifelong resident of Columbia, Marcy enjoys skiing, hiking, and fly-fishing with her husband and two sons.
