Paul C. Lawrence

Paul serves as managing partner of the firm and his practice focuses on civil litigation, including professional negligence and premises liability, employment law, and workers’ compensation. He takes a pragmatic approach to his claims, helping guide his clients toward the best resolution possible. When trial is necessary, he has substantial experience in trying both workers’ compensation and civil cases. Paul enjoys helping his clients get the best result possible, whether that comes through mediation, hearing, or trial.  

Growing up in a blue-collar family in Pennsylvania, Paul learned the value of hard work at a young age. His father was a truck driver, and Paul started his first job at eight years old, delivering newspapers and collecting payments. This early life experience has provided Paul with a great deal of understanding towards blue collar workers.  

He sees it as a tremendous honor that his partners voted him to be the managing partner of the firm and he takes the role very seriously. He recognizes that the ongoing success of the firm comes from us providing stellar service to our clients, being willing to work hard and go the extra mile for them. He takes pride in the culture of the firm that values every person who works here.  

After graduating from law school, Paul served as an Assistant District Attorney in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. He joined Hedrick Gardner in April of 1994 and has been with the firm since.  

Paul and his wife Laura have one son, Max. Outside of the office, Paul enjoys gardening and spending time with his family and labrador retrievers. He also enjoys running and has completed many distance races including Goofy’s race during the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.
