Preston Rollero brings unwavering dedication and intensity to his legal practice, serving as a steadfast advocate for clients facing complex and catastrophic litigation. His disciplined approach and relentless focus on achieving optimal outcomes have made him a trusted defender of individuals and businesses whose lives have been disrupted by legal challenges, often through no fault of their own.
Preston focuses on defending complex and catastrophic claims, including wrongful death cases, premises liability matters, and commercial litigation. He approaches each case as both strategist and advocate, developing comprehensive defense plans while serving as an unwavering source of support for his clients during their most challenging moments. His practice involves extensive investigation and analysis to understand the full implications of each claim, allowing him to craft the most effective defense strategies possible.
Preston’s commitment to serving others began long before his legal career. Before attending law school, he worked as an EMT and firefighter, experiences that provided him with the unique privilege of serving not only the sick and injured, but also their family members during critical moments. This background instilled in him a deep understanding of how to support people facing crisis situations, skills he now applies to his legal practice.
During his time at Wake Forest University School of Law, Preston distinguished himself as a research assistant for Professor Gregory Parks and actively participated in the Litigation Externship Clinic. He gained valuable experience through internships with the Wake County Public Defender’s Office in Raleigh, the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office in Winston-Salem, and the law firm of Robinson & Lawing. Prior to joining Hedrick Gardner, he spent two years at an insurance defense firm in Raleigh, further honing his expertise in complex litigation defense.
Preston brings the same intensity to his personal life as his professional practice. He never misses his daily workouts that include yoga, running, and cycling.
Beyond athletics, Preston is a musician who enjoys playing guitar and drums. He speaks fluent Spanish and has traveled to over 40 countries, experiences that have broadened his perspective and enhanced his ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
