Our Workers’ Compensation Associate, Saverio Longobardo, enjoys the analytical and strategic exercise of rigorously evaluating the facts of each case under the applicable law. His in-depth analysis is used as the basis for developing favorable legal strategies for the firm’s clients.
Saverio came to the firm with an abundance of legal training and education. He clerked for the Honorable Justice Robin E. Hudson at the Supreme Court of North Carolina, served as Commission Counsel to the North Carolina Judicial Standards Commission, and served as Counsel to Commissioner Adrian A. Phillips at the North Carolina Industrial Commission. He was the recipient of the prestigious 2019–2020 Appellate Practice Section Scholarship from the North Carolina Bar Association.
While attending the University of North Carolina School of Law, Saverio interned for Judge Mark A. Davis at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He also served as an extern for Magistrate Judge Joe L. Webster at the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
When not working, Saverio is an American history buff, with a special interest in reading biographies about the lives of historical and public figures. He also enjoys playing blues guitar and erg rowing.
