Tahlia Cypress brings a rigorous, client-focused approach to civil litigation. Driven by a passion for problem solving and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes, she works to understand the unique circumstances of every matter she handles and provides strategic, effective representation.
She began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Wake County, where she litigated cases in district and superior court and developed a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy. She went on to practice as a litigation associate at Raleigh-area firms, where she handled matters across medical malpractice, employment law, insurance defense, and construction law. Her work included drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, as well as conducting depositions and hearings. She also gained experience clerking for Former Chief Justice Beasley of the North Carolina Supreme Court.
Tahlia has been recognized as a North Carolina Super Lawyers® Rising Star in 2024 and 2025 and a Business North Carolina Legal Elite Young Gun in 2025. She is also a member of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys and the Wake County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of North Carolina.
