Biography

Veronica Fleury brings a personal touch to her claims handling, providing clients a complete picture of their situation and an analysis of the best options for moving forward. She enjoys analyzing all aspects of a matter, including the legal ramifications, as well as the personal and ethical elements involved and remains a fierce advocate for each client she serves.

Prior to joining Hedrick Gardner, Veronica worked as an attorney at two other firms in Asheville, handling civil and workers’ compensation matters. She has argued before the Full Commission and defended cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals. A regular presenter of continuing education training, she is passionate about educating her clients on workers’ compensation best practices.

In addition to graduating 4th in her class, Veronica served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Louis A. Bledsoe, Special Superior Court Judge for Complex Business Cases, and held an Hon. James B. McMillan legal fellowship followed by an externship at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Charlotte.

When not practicing law, Veronica bikes with her children by day, and critiques modern horror movies by night.
