Brianna Brooks understands the importance of leading by example and lifting others up, recognizing that her actions create a blueprint for current and future generations. This mindset drove her to graduate high school with her associate’s degree already completed, finish at NC State in three years, and complete law school by age 23.
“I recognize that there are not many attorneys that come from a similar background as I do, and I wanted to become the representation I felt I lacked growing up.” Her selfless, outward focus makes a huge impact on how she approaches each client and each matter in her legal endeavors.
While earning her JD at Elon University School of Law, Brianna served as Judge Advocate General Intern for the United States Army in Fayetteville, drafting legal reviews and title expungements along with reviewing investigation reports and attending court-martials. She also served in the Innocence Project throughout her time in law school, and has regularly volunteered at the Eastern North Carolina Food Bank for four years and counting. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Prior to law school, she received the Ebony Harlem “Mama” Toni Harris Thorpe Activism Award at NC State.
When she’s not practicing law, Brianna can be found hosting gatherings for friends and family, vacationing somewhere tropical, and trying new restaurants.
