Biography

Carolyn (“Carrie”) brings a vivacious and determined countenance to her work as a civil associate in Raleigh. She enjoys the rigor of the legal field, which she finds intellectually stimulating, and this enthusiasm fuels her ambition to soundly represent each client and effectively resolve matters.

Her long-standing desire to become an attorney culminated in a JD at Campbell University, where she competed on the winning team at the 2022 Estrella Trial Advocacy Competition, and was awarded the Order of Old Kivett for her forensics prowess and high ethical standards. She also served on the founding Board for the Society of Law & Technology on campus.

She treats North Carolina as her home, but still enjoys visiting family in Louisiana and partaking in Cajun cuisine, particularly her mother’s gumbo. Traveling, reading, and visiting local parks and farmers’ markets prevail as her biggest interests apart from law.
