Heather Heath is a committed Workers’ Compensation attorney with comprehensive experience handling workers’ compensation claims. Her background encompasses claim analyses and investigations, client communications, drafting settlement documents, and representing clients in mediations and hearings before the North Carolina Industrial Commission.

Heather’s legal journey began with the attainment of her J.D. from Elon University School of Law, following her completion of a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Legal Studies at Virginia Tech.

During her time in law school, Heather gained invaluable experience through internships at Compass Group USA and the Law Offices of Nicole L. Patino. These roles provided her with insights into employment law, contract drafting, and litigation support. Heather’s commitment to aiding vulnerable populations within the legal system was evidenced by her participation in the North Carolina Guardian Ad Litem Program, where she underwent training to investigate and assess the needs of abused and neglected children, as well as her role as a Horizon Intern at the Pulaski Public Defender Office.

Heather’s decision to pursue a legal career was deeply influenced by her family, particularly her advocacy for a special needs family member, which ignited her passion for defending the rights of others. Passing the bar exam marked a significant milestone, realizing her lifelong aspiration of becoming an attorney.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Heather enjoys exploring Raleigh with her husband, delving into literature, and cherishing moments with her three beloved cats.
