Josh Neighbors is a civil litigation attorney who focuses his practice on professional liability, premises liability, commercial litigation, administrative law, and personal injury cases.

Josh enjoys solving complex problems for his clients. He remains diligent throughout the investigation process, always searching for unique solutions tailored to each case’s specific facts. Many of his clients are facing their first—and hopefully only—lawsuit, making his role as their guide through the legal process particularly rewarding.

Josh’s approach centers on helping clients understand what’s realistic and achievable. Since anyone can file a lawsuit regardless of merit, attorneys like Josh serve as the crucial first line of defense, working to distill the true facts and circumstances of each case. He’s honest with clients about expectations: most lawsuits don’t end with home runs for either side, but rather with compromises that both parties can accept.

Before law school, Josh spent seven years working in public relations, marketing, and sales. This diverse professional background gives him unique insight into the daily challenges many of his clients face and helps him identify practical solutions that go beyond purely legal remedies.

During law school, Josh distinguished himself as a member of the Moot Court Board and received the Marshall-Thompson Award for Outstanding Achievement in Constitutional Law Studies. He also served as Articles Editor for the Elon Law Review. Before joining the firm, he clerked for the Honorable Judge John R. Jolly, Jr. of the North Carolina Business Court.
