Before his retirement on January 1, 2015, Jack was an attorney in the firm’s Charlotte office. His practice focused in the areas of civil litigation, construction litigation, environmental law, medical malpractice, occupational disease, and products liability. Prior to retiring Jack was an active member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, American Bar Association, as well as the Defense Research Institute.
Jack was selected to the 2008, 2009, and 2010 North Carolina Super Lawyers® List, which is published nationwide in Super Lawyers Magazine. Each year, no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. He was also selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America©, from 1995 – 2015 in Commercial Litigation, Appellate Practice, Environmental Litigation and Workers’ Compensation Law.
