Hedrick Gardner’s Community Association Law Practice Group regularly represents property management companies, self-managed and outside managed community associations, developers and individuals in community association matters.
Our practice focuses on the following areas:
- Collecting dues and assessments, including filing liens and foreclosure actions
- Handling covenant and restriction violations
- Instructing communities on compliance with federal and state laws
- Advising on parliamentary procedure, annual meetings, elections and proxies
- Developing resolutions and rules
- Assisting the association with transitions from developer control to member control
- Resolving neighborhood disputes and litigation
- Drafting and enforcing Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, CC&Rs and other governing documents
- Litigating construction defect matters
- Assisting the association with the transfer of roads and utilities to governmental authorities
