After taking her first law-related course in high school, Lauren knew she was on the road to becoming an attorney. “It was the first time I was truly enthralled by a subject,” she says. “And I have continued to enjoy learning about the law ever since.”
Lauren received an undergraduate degree in Business Management from St. Bonaventure University, where she also earned a Master’s of Business Administration while working as a graduate assistant to the Dean of the School of Business. Looking to escape the cold New York winters, Lauren then moved south to attend Campbell University School of Law. While earning her Juris Doctor, Lauren was an articles editor for the Law Review and coordinated the school’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. As part of the program, she volunteered time on her weekends to prepare tax returns free of charge. Due to her immense work ethic and industrious nature, Lauren also balanced her academic demands with several internships during her time at Campbell.
Presently, Lauren is an attorney in the firm’s Wilmington office. Her insurance defense practice focuses in the area of workers’ compensation. She is an active member of the North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
Outside of the office, Lauren loves to spend time with her family and friends, especially during the holidays when they can all come together. She also enjoys hiking or going to the beach with her golden retriever, Theodore.
