Megan Fallon is a civil litigator based in the firm’s Charlotte office. Her commitment to the legal profession is rooted in ensuring equitable access to justice within the court system and meeting her clients’ needs with creativity and problem-solving.
Megan’s legal journey began at Elon University School of Law, where she excelled academically, ranking 11th in her class and achieving recognition as a top 9% performer. Concurrently, she pursued a Master’s in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School, complementing her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of West Florida.
Throughout law school, Megan sought diverse experiences focused on litigation. As a Summer Law Clerk at the DOJ Federal U.S. Attorney’s Office in Columbia, SC, she conducted comprehensive legal research and contributed to prosecution materials. Her residency at the U.S. District Court Western District of North Carolina provided her with insight to assist with drafting published opinions and orders, alongside her involvement in various legal internships and roles at Trane Technologies, Walborsky, Bradley & Fleming, and the Escambia County Clerk of Court.
Megan’s academic and extracurricular achievements have earned her prestigious honors, including the North Carolina Pro Bono Award and induction into the Order of the Barristers at Elon Law. She demonstrated leadership as Vice President of the Student Bar Association, Staff Editor of the Elon Law Review, and Overall Chair of the Elon Intramural Moot Court Competition. Megan’s commitment to community service is underscored by her involvement with the Innocence Project and the North Carolina Drivers License Restoration Clinic.
Outside of her legal work, Megan enjoys outdoor pursuits like hiking, pickleball, and tennis. She cherishes time spent with family and her rescue dogs, Piper, Finley, and Brodie. Originally from Florida, Megan embraced the vibrant community and diverse opportunities in North Carolina, reflecting her dedication to personal growth and surmounting new challenges.
