Biography

Paul is a Special Counsel in the firm’s Columbia office with a statewide civil litigation practice. He has experience handling a wide variety of matters in State and Federal courts, including construction defect, products liability, premises liability, and complex commercial litigation. He also uses his experience as a Staff Attorney at the South Carolina Court of Appeals to develop and coordinate appellate strategy for clients who experience adverse results in the lower courts. Paul’s experience in every stage of the litigation process helps him develop and execute a litigation plan based on the facts and circumstances of each case to deliver efficient and effective results for his clients.

Before joining Hedrick Gardner, Paul worked as a staff attorney at the South Carolina Court of Appeals, where he analyzed briefs and assisted in the disposition of criminal and civil appeals. In law school, he was an active member of the Moot Court Bar, serving as the Chief Justice and a member of the National Moot Court Competition team. He was awarded the Robert T. Bockman Award for Appellate Advocacy upon graduation.

When not practicing law, Paul enjoys hunting, attending South Carolina athletic events, and spending time with his two German Shepherds.
