We are proud to congratulate Duane Jones, who was recently named among 19 lawyers statewide recognized as Leaders in the Law by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly.
Duane is a Board Certified Specialist in Appellate Practice, his exclusive area of practice since 2010. He has contributed to more than 200 briefs filed in the state appellate courts and has presented oral arguments in 20 cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Duane leads the firm’s appellate practice group and has been an active member of the North Carolina State Bar Appellate Rules Committee since 2012, where he works to improve the rules governing appellate procedure across the state.
